Terms of service

“Framz”, “we”, “us” means the operator of framz.io and cloud-cost.framz.io. Contact: support@framz.io. These terms govern your use of the cloud-cost.framz.io platform and our AWS cost-audit services. By creating an account you accept them on behalf of the business you represent; the service is offered to businesses, not consumers.

Three components:

(a) Free automated scan. Software analysis of your AWS account via a read-only role you create, producing an estimated monthly saving and a summary of findings. Free of charge, no obligation.

(b) Audit engagement (£499 fixed, plus VAT where applicable). Human verification and extension of the scan: a written report itemising findings, estimated savings, risks and step-by-step remediation, delivered electronically.

(c) Optional monitoring retainer (£149/month, plus VAT where applicable). Monthly re-runs of the audit checks, regression alerts and a quarterly review call. Either party may cancel with effect from the end of the current monthly period.

You confirm that you are authorised to grant access to the AWS account you connect, that information you provide is accurate, and that you will keep your login credentials confidential. You must not use the service on AWS accounts you do not control or lack permission to audit.

Access is granted solely through a cross-account IAM role you create in your own AWS account, restricted to read-only cost and configuration metadata as described on our security page. We never request or store AWS access keys. You may revoke access at any time by deleting the role; revocation during an audit engagement does not entitle you to a refund of work already performed, except as provided by the guarantee.

If the total estimated monthly saving stated in your delivered audit report is less than both (i) 20% of your monthly AWS spend and (ii) £499 per month, the audit fee is waived: any deposit paid is refunded in full and no balance is due.

For this purpose, “monthly AWS spend” means the unblended cost of the last full calendar month before the engagement began, as reported by AWS Cost Explorer; the saving total is the report's deliberately conservative estimate (unknown prices are counted as zero). The guarantee applies once per AWS account and does not depend on whether you implement the recommendations.

Audit fee: £499 fixed. 50% (£249.50) is invoiced after the kick-off call; the balance on delivery of the report. Payment by bank transfer within 14 days of invoice. VAT is added where applicable. The free scan requires no payment details. Late amounts may accrue interest at the statutory rate.

Savings figures are estimates based on AWS pricing and your usage at the time of analysis. AWS prices, your workloads and your usage change; we do not warrant that estimated savings will be realised. Implementation of recommendations is your responsibility, under your own change-control; we are not liable for the consequences of changes you make to your infrastructure. The report is not financial, legal or tax advice.

We retain ownership of our methodology, checklists and software. You receive a perpetual licence to use the delivered report for your internal business purposes. You may not resell the report or the service.

We treat your cost and configuration data as confidential, use it only to provide the service, and handle personal data as described in our privacy policy. Scan findings are deleted 90 days after an engagement closes (or after the scan, if no engagement follows), except for active retainer clients.

Nothing in these terms excludes liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud, or any liability that cannot lawfully be excluded. Subject to that: we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, loss of profit, revenue or data; and our total aggregate liability arising out of or in connection with the service is capped at the fees you have paid us in the 12 months before the claim arose (or £499, if greater).

You may close your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate access for breach of these terms, abuse of the platform, or non-payment. Sections 5–10 survive termination.

We may update these terms; material changes will be notified by email or on this page with a revised date. Changes do not affect an audit engagement already underway.

These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales, and the courts of England and Wales have exclusive jurisdiction.
