How it works

Everything is free until you have seen your number and decided it is worth acting on. After that there is one price, and a guarantee attached to it.

  1. Free

Estimate, if you want a number today

Four questions and about thirty seconds. You get a range rather than a figure, with the arithmetic beside each line so you can argue with a specific assumption. Nothing to connect and no account to create.

  2. Free

Connect a read-only role, about two minutes

Create an account, then run our CloudFormation template. It builds a role in your account carrying ViewOnlyAccess plus the cost APIs that policy misses, locked to us with an ExternalId. No access keys leave your account. Delete the role and our access ends immediately.

  3. Free

    The automated scan

The scanner walks every region with spend in it: fourteen days of CloudWatch data for idle compute, storage classes and lifecycle rules, Savings Plans sizing from AWS's own recommendation engine, network waste, logging costs, and the long tail of things nobody has looked at in years. Estimates are deliberately low. Anything we cannot price counts as zero.

  4. Free

Your number, and a straight answer about it

You see the total, the count per category, and one complete finding from your own account with its evidence. If the number is too small to justify the fee we say so at this point, which is what happened when we scanned ourselves. If it is worth pursuing, book the free half hour call.

  5. £499

The audit itself, delivered in days

After the call and a 50% invoice, we check every automated finding by hand, chase the things a scanner cannot judge such as Spot suitability, scheduling and architecture, and price each fix. You get every resource ID, the steps to fix it, and an order of work sorted by saving against effort. The guarantee is judged against that report's conservative total.

  6. £149

    Keep it down, optional, monthly

Bills creep back up. The retainer re-runs the audit checks every month, tells you when something regresses or new waste appears, and includes a quarterly review call. Cancel whenever.

You can check the output before any of this

The complete scan of our own AWS account is published, including the total that fell short of our own guarantee.

Prefer to talk first? The FAQ covers most of it.

Who you are dealing with

We are aware that a website asking about your AWS account, with no name attached to it, looks exactly like the thing your security training told you to close. So here are the details you would need to check us out, and the two pages that let you judge the work before you talk to anyone.

Judge the work first

Neither of these asks you for anything.

We have no client testimonials on this site because we have not finished a paid audit yet. When that changes we will put the names here with permission. Until then the scan of our own account is the only evidence we have, so it is the evidence we show.
