Where these numbers come from
The rates are the same ones our scanner applies to real accounts. A one year no upfront Compute Savings Plan is 20% off on demand. Moving a gp2 volume to gp3 is 20% cheaper for identical performance at typical sizes. Putting a dev box on a nights and weekends schedule cuts about 70% of its hours. None of that is our opinion, it is AWS pricing.
What we cannot know from four answers is how your bill splits, so we assume a split and let you change it. Everything else follows from the arithmetic, which is printed next to each line rather than hidden behind a total.
